Name the song the line is from Part II

Let’s see if a few more lines and a hint or two will help:

Oh, the things that you say
Is it live or just to play
My worries away
You’re all the things I’ve got to remember
You’re shying away
I’ll be coming for you anyway

In 1985, a Norwegian band enjoyed a top-5 worldwide hit with this song. In the US and UK, it reached the #1 and #2 chart positions, respectively.

The song has a three-word title. The band’s name consists of three letters and a hyphen.

While the music was good, the song also grabbed a good deal of attention because of the unique and innovative accompanying video, which combined live action shots with pencil-sketch animation, often in the same frame.

SOS ? nope ....band name is wrong

OK, that one was officially a dud.

It was Take On Me, by A-ha.

This one was written and first recorded in 1955, but the hit version was released in 1965:

I can talk these words that will sound so sweet
They will even make your little heart skip a beat

Seventh son by some white guy singer.....Johnny rivers?

Try this one from 1962,a #1 country hit:
Mary is waiting and weeping alone in our shack by the sea
Even after I hurt her, Mary' still in love with me

Bob

I really liked that one, Bob. It's Devil Woman, by Marty Robbins.

This is from 1977:

When the rain washes you clean, you'll know

Hi All,

That be “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac. Nice song, Jim.

I think this single line will do:

Setting suns and lonely lovers free

Good one! It's been on my to do list for a while. You beat me to it.

Green-Eyed Lady, by Sugarloaf.

Just heard this today:

And the night got deathly quiet
And his face lost all expression

Is that "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers?
I’m not sure why I hesitated. I‘m fairly sure I was right.

So I’ll drop one from 1985:

Lovely lady
Pretty as can be
No one knows her name
She's just a mystery

That's Fresh, by Kool & the Gang. Me like.

Early 80s for this one:

I've heard the warnin' voice
From friends and my relations
They tell me all about your
Heart-break reputation
