Name the song the line is from Part II

Let's try a few more lines and a few hints before I give up on this one. The song has a five-word title:

Alone, just my lonely heart knows how
_ ____ __ __ ______
Right now, not tomorrow but right now
_ ____ __ __ ______

I want someone to say good morning and good night to
Someone I know that I will always have the right to
Where is this someone, somewhere, meant for me?

It's a female artist. Think little gal with a big voice. She was 15 years old when this song was released.

She charted twelve top-10 hits from 1959 to 1963, including two #1s. This song was one of the #1s.

Hi All,

Those extra lines sure helped, Jim. I believe that’s “I Want To Be Wanted” by Brenda Lee.

Don’t ask me why this one from 1986 came to mind:

Sometimes you tell the day
by the bottle that you drink

I don't know why that song might have come to mind, but I do know it's a really good one!

It's Wanted Dead Or Alive, by Bon Jovi.

Even though this song was never released as a single, the album track sure seems to get a lot of airplay around here. I heard it again today. It's from a very popular 1977 album:

Run in the shadows
Damn your love, damn your lies
Break the silence
Damn the dark, damn the light

That's Fleetwood Mac- fine group, fine name.
Sorry, its off Rumours but..is that the name of the song also?

a true blonde

Gosh N’Cat, I must give you partial credit for jogging my memory. It is from Rumours. The song is called “Break The Chain”, I think. It might just be “The Chain”. I like that one.

Then there’s one from 1966:

Don't you believe in him
If you do he'll make you cry
That's Sweet Talking Guy. And it's by the Chiffons. Or the Crystals. Or possibly the Shirelles. Or some other 60s girl group. Going with first instinct...the Chiffons?

Try this one-liner:

Hope you make a lot of nice friends out there

Wild World, Cat Stevens

another single line....not a toughie

Damn. I know that somebody did a song about a DJ, which would seem to fit the lyrics, but I can't quite place it right now.

Thinking...

W.O.L.D by Harry Someone (can't remember)

*********** NEW *************

That is you can't you know, tune in

Glad you guessed the Harry Chapin song, Tony. It was driving me crazy.

Your latest one was so easy, I had to stop and think about it. It's Strawberry Fields Forever, by THOSE guys.

Let's see if we can tune into this one:
