Name the song the line is from Part II

Who could forget that one, Cyn? It's Pleasant Valley Sunday, by the Monkees. Good choice.

This was first released in 1968. It's been covered many, many times:

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn more
Than I'll ever know

"What a Wonderful World," by Louis Armstrong. (Did I get the title right?)

"I keep my eyes wide open all the time"

Great song Jim

Wonderful World.
Not sure who did it first but I really like the Louis Armstrong version

****** NEW ***********

Early sixties

my happiness and your warm caress, no rabbit foot can bring

Looks like Sue was first by a whisker, but I really like the songs that Sue and Tony nominated, so I'm just going to go ahead and name them both.

Sue did I Walk The Line, by Johnny Cash, and Tony did Good Luck Charm, by Elvis. Great songs, guys!

OK, in 1961, a group from Pittsburgh breathed new life into an old 1930s standard by recording a doo-wop version that shot to the top of the charts in the US and UK:

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold

That's "Blue Moon." Don't know who did the doo-wop version, though.

My mind is blank this early in the morning, lol, so the floor is open.

From one blank to another, this is all I can come up with this early in the day. It was a pretty big hit on both sides of the pond in 1960:

Just like a willow
We would cry an ocean
If we lost true love
And sweet emotion

(BTW, the doo-wop Blue Moon was done by The Marcels)

That sure looks like “It’s Now Or Never” by Elvis Presley. It’s such a pretty tune.

A big hit from 1985:

So when you need a little peace of mind
come on over boy, anytime

That be In My House, by those Mary Jane Girls. Good one!

This one was #1 US and #3 UK, but it's from (gulp), um, 1990:

Lay a whisper on my pillow
Leave the winter on the ground
I wake up lonely, there's air of silence
In the bedroom, and all around

I remember that one, Jim. I was working in a store that had satellite radio with a lot of current stuff mixed with oldies at the time. Yours is “It Must Have Been Love” by Roxette.

What now? Oh I know:

Looks like things are gonna be a lot easier
Life will be a breeze you know
I really should be glad

That's a really nice one, Cyn. It's Bluer Than Blue. I believe the singer's name was Michael Johnson (not to be confused with Michael Jackson, aka: The Gloved One ).

This is from 1974:

You're gonna hear electric music
Solid walls of sound
