Name the song the line is from Part II

Great group, Little River Band doing "Cool Change"

How his heart is breaking on the inside
But he keeps laughing on the outside

I won't be back until tomorrow night

Pretty sure that's See The Funny Little Clown, by Bobby Goldsboro. I liked that.

Can't think of anything but this easy one:

I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss

Good choice Jim - Your Song - Elton John

********* NEW ***********

Sixties Coming Atcha -

We'll have time for coffee-flavored kisses,
And a bit of conversation

Good one, Tony! It's Last Train To Clarksville, by the Monkees.

This song first appeared on the US C&W chart in 1953, but the most popular version (#2 US, #1 UK) hit the Pop charts in 1959:

You taught me how
To love and now
You say that we are through

I have a recording of that song by Bob Dylan. I believe the original may have been Elvis but not sure.
Song is A Fool such as I - Dylans version is not bad.

**** NEW ****

Sixties!

If there's a man who is down and needs a helpin' hand

Good one! That's People Got To Be Free. I'd guess they still called themselves The Young Rascals when they sang that one, rather than just The Rascals.

More 60s:

It's too much pain and too much sorrow

Love that song! Still play it often. The Last Time by the Stones

I am getting ready to head out so I'll leave it open.
A Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, And Seasons Greetings to all.
Here is a seasonal video for you.

Hi All,

I have not been cut off yet. I’ll keep it easy while my luck holds up.

Tell me, what did I do wrong
To make you stay away so long?

Another good one! I remember it well. It's Baby Love, by The Supremes.

According to Wiki, this one was first recorded in the 50s, but the most popular version (#4 US/#1 UK) was released in 1967:

You'd be a fool to cling to me

Hint time.

Arnold Dorsey was the real name of this British singer with the funny-sounding stage name.

The song had a two-word title:

Please _______ __, can’t you see
You’d be a fool to cling to me
