Looks like no one knows this one so far. How about a hint or two, Rick?

The song was written by someone who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.

Rick

That's a history lesson.

Can you give some insight into the artist or the song? You know, like what kind or style of music does s/he tend to write? What subjects or emotions does the song deal with? That kind of thing.

Thanks.

Okay, here's some "insight into the artist".

His initials are ..................................................................................................................... Leonard Cohen.

Rick

That's a little more insightful than I had in mind. You might have said "a poet as well as a songwriter, known for his enigmatic lyrics," or something like that.

Anyway, I'm not very good on Leonard Cohen, so I'm still thinking about the song. I won't ask for more insight, though.

The song was featured in the original Shrek movie.
