Name the song the line is from Part II

Hi All,

The song is “Garden Party” by Rick Nelson. At least I think so. It’s a good song and a nice rose too.

A different kind of party:

Oh, they say 2,000 zero zero party over
Oops! Out of time!

Sounds like 1999, by Prince, if that's what he was calling himself at the time. Great song, strange guy.

Here's one:

And the county judge
Who held a grudge
Will search for evermore

(Phil, I think a good politician would argue that it's important and unimportant, leaving both sides thinking s/he was on their side.)

Excellent choice, Jim. That has been on my “To Do” list for a while. It’s “Band On The run” by Wings.

Try some 1967:

We were never meant to worry the way that people do
I believe that It's

Live For Today.

Phil, please study this photograph of a well known bronze sculpture, then answer the multiple choice question that follows.

This sculpture is called:

a. The Thinker
b. The Crapper
c. Either The Thinker or The Crapper, since everybody knows that there is no difference between thinking and crapping
d. Probably NOT The Thinker, since everybody knows that bronze sculptures can't think
e. Who cares what the sculpture is called?? I see crap everywhere!

Please answer thoughtfully, Phil. The doctor needs this information if he is to help you make the voices go away.

( Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS! )

Just got back fom my in-laws and that's the funniest thing I've seen or read all day. Thanks Jim.

Thanks, Ben. Glad you enjoyed it, but I'm not kidding myself -- Phil will get even.

I'd say you're up, buddy. Either Live For Today is right on, or Cyndee's going to say it's close enough if the exact title happens to be Let's Live For Today.

Whatcha got?

New one:
Leaves swaying in the summer breeze.

Heading to Foxwoods in the morning. Wish me luck

That's Summer Song, by Chad & Jeremy. It's a pretty one.

Have fun and win big at Foxwoods!

Some (barely) 80s;

Her friends are so jealous
You know how bad girls get

Ooops! Bad timing. I'll be back.
On closer look, I know that one. The tune is so good, I have a hard time with the words. But I think it’s “Don’t Stand so Close To Me” by The Police.

BTW, Good Luck to Ben at Foxwoods!

Come to think of it, Diana Ross could have said this:

Well, there's Flo on my left and there's Mary on my right
