Name the song the line is from Part II

Good one, Cyn!

If you think Billy Joel is crazy, You May Be Right.

This one is from 1980 as well. It's upbeat, energetic, and fun, and I really like it. These days, I hear it A LOT on the car radio:

You really know how to dance
When you go up, down, jump around
Think about true romance, yeah

Keep on whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I wanna hear
‘Cause that’s true…

I know that one is called “What I Like About You”. The trouble is I don’t remember who did it. It sure is upbeat, energetic and fun though. I like it too, Jim. Good choice.

I can’t resist swaying back and forth to this one from 1983:

After the laughter as died away
And all the boys have had their fun

I remember that one, Cyndee, and the fact that I'd have the tune in my head for the rest of the day whenever I heard it. Good one!

That's It's A Mistake, by Men At Work.

Here's one from 1960 (US#2, UK#1):

She's much too nice to rearrange

(If you haven't already looked it up, Cyn, What I Like About You was sung by The Romantics. They also did Talking In Your Sleep, a song that appeared on this thread about a week ago.)

Ahh - I see we have climbed out of the morass known as the eighties!

That was Poetry in Motion - Johnny somebody was first - followed by several.

**** NEW ******

Guess the decade!

______ the way you comb your hair
______ your freckled nose

Sixteen Reasons, by Connie Stevens, right? Hmmm...late 50s or very early 60s. I'm goin' with early 60s. Just a guess.

I don't quite remember the lyrics well enough to say which of the sixteen reasons those two happen to be.

OK, staying away from the morass of the 80s here, lol:

They're always havin a good time down on the bayou, Lord
Them Delta women think the world of me

I can hear the melody - just can't catch the title yet.
That gets a lot of play on the classic rock stations, around here at least. It’s “Ramblin’ Man”. I think it was done by the Alman Brothers.

Sorry this one from 1975 is so sticky:

I wish I've never met you, girl

Ewww...it's that icky, sticky, sweet song called... Feelings!

Just kidding. Actually, I like it, but I can't remember the guy's name. #@&+$*% !!!

Oh, well.

Here's one:

Try to cool it girl
Take it nice and slow

Hint: It's a very popular, mainly 70s, Swedish pop group.

Adding another line:

Take it easy (take it easy)
Try to cool it girl
Take it nice and slow
