A slice of 1977:

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard

I have a great cover of that by Diana Krall - Just The Way You Are
Anyone else wonder what she saw in Elvis Costello?

Sixties - bet that surprised you!

See, don't ever set me free
I always wanna be by your side

That’s got to be “You Really Got Me” by The Kinks. Van Halen did it too, but much later.

I’ll stay in the sixties for a bit:

Oh, be careful what you say
You'll give yourself away

Johnny Rivers was a Secret Agent Man in the 60s.

OK, more 60s:

You gotta toss and turn in the middle of the night

I like that one, Tony. It’s “Stone Soul Picnic” by The Fifth Dimension. Nice choice.

Some say this one from 1973 is bad. I think it’s charming:

Where the children laugh
And the children play
And we sing a song all day
This is just a wild guess, Cyndee, and probably wrong. But it made me think of "Playground in my Mind," by Clint Holmes. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
I was struggling with that one Sue but I believe that you are right!
Looks like you are up.

Sounds right to me, too.

I drew a blank on that one.

OK -- I hope I have these lyrics correct, lol.

"No more laughter,
No more love"
Ya got me Sue. I know that I had that song on an old Burt Bachrach LP - but I have no clue what it was called
