Name the song the line is from Part II

Hi All,

Wow Jim, they are very similar. Thanks for pointing that out. I believe yours is “Puppy Love” by Paul Anka.

I thought this was from Motown, but it turns out to be from a New York City band, originally:

Your name and mine inside a heart upon a wall

Wow, that was another good challenge, Cyn. Those lyrics don't automatically pop into my head when I think of that song.

It's Walk Away, Renee, by Left Banke.

More 60s:

It starts when you're always afraid

Let's see if more lines will help :

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

That’s “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield.

From one extreme to another here:

What a trip, just watching as the world goes past

I like that one. Grazing In The Grass, by Friends Of Distinction. It's a gas, man.

A small sample of 1970:

Don't you ever ask them why

I’m sure that’s “Teach Your Children” by CS&N. Those guys did some good stuff, Man.

I went back to 1968 for this:

Something's wrong between us that your laughter cannot hide

Edited for bad paste

Pretty sure that's Woman, Woman, by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Nice!

That one was '68, huh? Well, alrighty then, we need some '67:

Listen Mister, can't you see I got to get back to my baby once mo'?

I believe that's when Churchill told the people, "Put every ship a-sail!"

Been a while since I heard that one, Tony. It's Sink The Bismark, by Johnny Horton.

This was first recorded in 1962, but in 1967 a group from Cincy took it to #6 (#28UK). I would be surprised if anyone remembered the group, but I wondered if anyone would recall the song:

Sweeten my coffee with a morning kiss
Soften my dreams with your sighs

I'll be different - I know who recorded it but can't think of the title.
Meanwhile I'm still working on Cyndeeta's lyrics - "Edited for bad paste" Hmmmm . I know this one
