Name the song the line is from Part II

I think I'd like to edit mine for bad taste - on my part.

Looks like it may not fly.

Here are a few more lines, including the six-word title:

Sweeten my coffee with a morning kiss
Soften my dreams with your sighs
Tell me you'll love me for a million years
Then if it don't work out
Then if it don't work out
____ ___ ___ ____ __ _______

"Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye"

I knew that one without the extra lines, Jim.

We've probably done this one, but I can't think of anything different, lol --

"Now and then you need someone older"
Nicely done, Sue. Thanks!

Your lyrics are from a pretty song called Run To Me, by the Bee Gees.

I'm going with lyrics that are a little more mainstream:

This time I'm gonna take it myself
And put it right in her hand

'Night, all.

Sounds a bit like that Elvis dude - Return to Sender

******* NEW ********
Fifties. Sixties and beyond -

Or I'm reciting a poem
The owls go by and they give me the eye

Night all

Is that "Walkin' My Baby Back Home?" I liked Wayne Newton's version, lol.

This one should be easy (I think) --

"That's a pain I could live without"

**** NEW ******

Another one liner

I'll be staying for many a day

Hi All,

That’s a nice one, Tony. It’s “I’m Telling You Now”. The name of the group escapes me. Were they a “British Invasion” group?

I have lots more in my 1968 bag, like this:

We don't only sing,
but we dance just as good as we walk
Well I was feeling Tighten Up but now I'm feeling Mellow.

I suspect that's an answer to the old lyrics (Tighten Up) together with new lyrics (I''m feeling mellow) in the same sentence. Very nice, Blade.

The new lyrics sound familiar, but I can't quite place 'em yet. Anyone?
