Name the song the line is from Part II

Good one Blade - hope you stick around.

Your song was Mellow by Elton John

*** NEW **********

Peace, Remember Peace is how we make it

That’s a huge favorite of mine, Tony. “It Don’t Come Easy” by The Beatles. Great choice.

This may or may not be easy:

Fool, said I, you do not know

The number one, best song, ever recorded - Sound of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel
I just LOVE that song.

*** Sixties ********

Don't let this moment end
Oh darn, I almost had it. I was one word off.

That’s I Hear A Symphony, by the Supremes.

I think they sing "don’t let this moment end" in one part of the song, and "don’t let this feeling end" in another. If that happens to be the one-word difference you mentioned in your post, Cyndee, you had the song after all.

More 60s:

But don’t forget that love’s a game
And it can always come again

I’m probably going to be out most of the day today, so if these lyrics get in the way, please feel free to bypass them.

Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying - Gerry and the Pacemakers

I'm no schoolboy but I know what I like

(edited for typo)

Hi All,

Jim is right. I was stuck on the line with “feeling” and forgot about the one with “moment”. That’s what I get for not listening when I get a hunch.

Oooohh tough one Blade
I remember a band that I toured with that played that.
It was called long haired boy or something like that - no idea who recorded it - so I won't claim it and post a new one.

You are right on track there tonyrob. Here is a twin-spin hint:

Preacher man talking on TV, he's a putting down the rock'n roll

...and here's your peachy triple play re-hint about the band name:
