Name the song the line is from Part II

Ray Stevens is one of my all time favorites. That one is “Santa Claus is watching you”.

I’d better look for more, because this is all I got:

You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and Grandpa, we believe.
Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

New lyrics -

"I bet she's not like me,
She's out and fancy free,
Flirtin' with the boys with all her charms"

I was just a kid, but I remember that one, Sue. It's Oh, Lonesome Me, by Don Gibson. He also did another song I liked back then called Sea Of Heartbreak, whose lyrics I think I posted here (well, actually, on the previous lyrics thread).

OK, it's probably a bit of a stretch to call this one a Christmas song, but I seem to come across it on TV every year at about this time:

The three words that best describe you
Are as follows, and I quote,
"Stink, stank, stunk!"

The three words that best describe you
Are as follows, and I quote,
"Stink, stank, stunk!"

OK, hint time.

This song comes from an animated TV Christmas special that first aired in 1966 (!) and is still being shown today.

The lyrics for this song were directed at the Scrooge-like main character who had a very serious problem: His heart was two sizes too small.

That's from the Grinch That Stole Christmas, isn't it? I think the song is "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," but I may be wrong.

You be correct!

Now, here's the downside: With correctness comes responsibility. You're up!

"I could while away the hours,
conferrin' with the flowers"
I believe those lines are from “If I only had a brain” from the Wizard of Oz. My favorite song from that play/movie.

One from 1954:

Give him a lonely heart like Pagliacci
And lots of wavy hair like Liberace

Mr sandman, of course

I was looking up the lyrics to some song I heard on the local golden oldies station.

Something about an Octopus for Christmas... I couldn't go through with it

New stuff.........

Just touch me again, I'm king of all men
And rainin' from above
