Name The Song The Line Is From Part III

We seem to have lost our thread for naming the songs. So, here’s a new one. Guess the song from the lines presented and leave lines to another song for us to guess.

In the interest of continuity, I wish I knew what Blade wrote in his last post, but I never got to read it. Then rockymet came up with one when Sue suggested a new thread.

Let’s start with rocymet’s line:

Do you mean that I will fall in love per chance?

I haven't put my finger on this one yet, but I'm guessing it's something by Twisted Sister.

Blades was Long Haired Country Boy

Not too many people would write "per chance" in lyrics - so it had to be from the movies!

Rodgers and Hart - Isn't it romantic.
Rod Stewart had a good version - as did Ray Charles

Roy Orbison is a big favorite of mine, Tony. Thanks for posting “Running Scared”. That’s so nice.

Now try this:

Working for peanuts is all very fine

More Sixties

don't forget the Mashed Potatoes

Hello, Tony. I'd say that's Having A Party, by Mr. Sam Cooke. Good one!

Do you think you will remember this 70s tune perchance?

Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

It’s funny, Tony. I get the feeling that I should know this one. Perhaps it will come to me with a hint or two. Anybody else?

Yeah - you will know this one Cyndee -
That was the third line of a verse
Last line of the verse is also 10 syllables
The last syllable (which is part of the title) rhymes with higher - and also has a Liverpool, and a British connection. Let me know if you would like more clues.
