Name The Song The Line Is From Part III

The song was done by an English pop rock group, and it had a three-word title. In 1964, it charted US#6/UK#1. Let's see if a few more lines might help :

Other girls may try to take me away (take me away)
But you know, it's by your side I will stay
I'll stay

Our love will last now (our love will last)
Till the end of time (end of time)
Because this love now (because this love)
Is only yours and mine (yours and mine)

Just got back from the movies -

That is Glad All Over - Dave Clarke Five
Bit of trivia - he was a big friend of Freddie Mercury and was sitting with him when he died

That would be Give Me Love, by George Harrison. It's a good one, Tony.

Here's a little bit of 1965 (US#2/UK#3):

...falling in love with you was easy for me

Good morning.

I remember the song well - even all of the lyrics but I can't think of the name of the singer.

It was 1-2-3- by some dude

More early sixties -

I don't know what I'd do if you'd ever say goodbye

That's Don't Break The Heart That Loves You, by Connie Francis.

This one first did well in 1966 (US#7/UK#8). In the UK, a cover version 30 years later (1996) went to #1!

I walk in shadows, searching for light

(1-2-3 was sung by Len Barry)

That's a really nice one. I Honestly Love You, by Olivia Newton-John.

OK, watchout Tony, 'cause there's some 80s heading right for you :

Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you

Dang it! I messed it up. It should be:

Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you

sorry.

You're fired !

You can't fire me because I QUIT!! Right after I give some hints, that is.

This band formed in L.A. in 1977. Because most of the members had played in other groups representing several musical genres, they picked a one-word name for the band that means “all encompassing” in Latin.

This song is from their fourth album, which was their most commercially successful, released in 1982. The single charted US#1/UK#3, and has a one-word name.

The unusual music achieves its desired sonic effects through the heavy use of synthesizers combined with marimbas, kalimbas, and other out-of-the ordinary instruments. One band member described the sound as “something you might expect to hear on a National Geographic TV special.”

Here are a few more lines of lyrics:

Hurry boy, she’s waiting there for you
It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There’s nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do

I’ll give it up a little later if it looks like it isn’t going to work. THEN, I'll quit!
