Early

Let's have some early 60's for a change

****** NEW ***********

To bring back the straying liars
And the lost sheep to the fold

Edited to add clues -
Female singer
The original was recorded in French and wasn't ever intended to be a hit - the plan was to give it as a gift.
It was later recorded in several languages.
It was featured in a movie that bombed.

French - 60s Dominique...by the Flying, no Singing Nun

What was the movie ?

new

You'll find another
And I'll be here
Good job Phil - I thought that I would have to give that one up. The movie was "The Singing Nun" 1965. It is now a Turner Classic ( but not a very good movie)

Imagine...A movie about a singing nun being titled the obvious.

Hint: this is not a rock song, from the 60s I believe
I give up Phil - tough one
It is "For the Good Times" Wiki says it was on Kristofferson's eponymous debut album in 1970. Ray Price got Song of the Year for it in the Country awards.

Always wanted to use 'eponymous' in a sentence.

Somebody else take a free shot, please

That was a toughie. Good song, though.

Let's try this one:

Got you in my arms, and it’s paradise ‘til the morning light
