Name The Song The Line Is From Part III

Darn. So far I'm lost, even with the hints. Sorry.

Oh oh, Tony I’m lost now. Can you say anything about the theme of the song or maybe the instrumentation in the recording? Or another line would help, I'm sure.
This song, recorded in 1977 was a Christmas hit in all of Europe and the Far East and Australia (but maybe not in the USA) and it was recorded by a former Beatle about his summer home in the North of Britain. His home was on an island.

Hope that helps (more clues are available )
Maybe you need to mull it over

Tony, I can tell from your hints that you feel you're pretty much giving it away, and still I got nothin'. I'm wondering if for some reason this song just wasn't played in the States. I dunno.

Mull it over, huh? Very clever, Tony. I believe it’s “Mull of Kintyre”. I really like it, because I’m reminded of a lullaby. I have never heard it on the radio though.

For those not familiar, give a listen:

Well, that one would be Pink Houses, by John (Cougar) Mellencamp.

Here's one from the 60s (US#2, UK#3):

Let's have it talked out, things will be okay

Don't recognize yours right now Cyndee - but good job on Mull of Kintyre - I love that song!

Not too much into early American songs - but I think that may have been monkees? Little bit of me!

Really unsure - so I am not posting a new one.

Hey, hey it’s the Monkees. That one is “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You”. It’s another one of Neil Diamond’s songs that they made popular.

This one from 1968 is kind of catchy:
