Name The Song The Line Is From Part III

I think that's called Bottle of Wine. A really fun one, although I can't remember for the life of me who did it.

Here's one I like from '64:

So very warm and tender, the way you loved me
Hey girl, can't you remember, and want more of me?

Guess maybe it's time to add a few lines:

I'll go on living and keep on forgiving because
You were my first love

So very warm and tender, the way you loved me
Hey girl, can't you remember, and want more of me?

The song was a #6 hit in 1964. It was sung by a four-man group. The lead singer was not yet given separate billing, but he soon would be.

Hi All,

Oh yes, Jim. I know it. That’s “Ronnie” by The Four Seasons. I like most of their stuff.

I’ll go back one year to 1963:

Espresso coffee tastes mighty good

BTW, “Bottle Of Wine” was a hit by The Fireballs in 1968. I think it was older though.

Good morning all -

That sounds like Sugar Shack.
Don't know who recorded it in the US - Noddy Holder did it in the UK with his pre-Slade band.

********** NEW **********

Sixties

On our first trip I tried so hard to rearrange your mind

That would be 19th Nervous Breakdown, by the Stones.

This is another one of those early American songs from 1967:

Or maybe you think that love was made for fools
And so it makes you wise to break the rules

That's She's A Beauty, by The Tubes. Good one!

Here's one:

A schoolboy's dream, you act so shy
Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye

Wow, that’s another rockin’ song, Jim. “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi.

These guys rock too, when they want to:

So gently swaying through the fairy-land of love
