I liked this upbeat song from the 1978 film version of a musical. It charted #1 in the US and the UK.

I liked Foreigner, and thought Hot Blooded was just an honest, straight up fun song. Good one!


This group in general, and the lead singer in particular, were known for the raw emotion with which they sang. They did this one in 1965:

It's a hard world to get a break in
All the good things have been taken
But girl, there are ways
To make certain things pay
Though I'm dressed in this rags
I'll wear sable, some day



Edit: Same song, just decided these lyrics were more representative.
