New Television Season

Because of the USA network, I'm no longer in sync with the television season. Suits, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, White Collar are all gone until next year. Psych will return in a few weeks.

There are a couple of shows I'm looking forward to seeing. Big Bang Theory left with plenty of threads dangling. And The Mentalist ended the season with their best episode ever (a cold blooded killing of Red John).

I see Mad Men has influenced the networks. There are a number of retro shows: Playboy Club, Pan Am, something else? If the networks think the secret of Mad Men is the 1960's, the above mentioned shows will fail. Don't know anything about any other shows.

Anyone looking forward to the return of new episodes or new shows?
Fringe

Pam Am and Playboy Club won't be picked up- Eddie Ciproni can't act past a pout. Ohh Stews who travel and smoke! Ohh naughty Bunnys who dodge passes... ain't happening.

I will give Ted Danson a chance to breath live into CSI- Fishbourne almost made it DOA.

Person of Interest - love JJ Abrams shows, also stars Michael Emerson (Ben Linus from Lost)

The Mentalist
Blue Bloods - a terrific show
Fringe
whats that new show on FX? American Gothic or American Horror?
that has good producers/writers attached to it.

FX is giving HBO a run for their considerable less money.

forgot to mention Walking Dead (OMG!)

N'cat, you jogged a few neurons.

Prohibition will be worth watching. I'll curious how much Ken ties in the anti-immigrant and women's suffrage movements.

Ted Danson to CSI -- I had been blocking it out of memory. I suspect this is the second shark jump. I would have preferred Bill Nye (the science guy).

One of these days I'll watch Modern Family.
I remember reading a review in TV Guide by Cleveland Amory back in the 60's and he ended his review by saying "Bewitched won't bewatched". So much for the observation power of critics!

Larry from Las Vegas
LOL, Larry.
cute!

TV Guide, like Readers Digest was required bathroom reading. Gone the way of the hassock.. yet i still have both TVGuide and a hassock to rest and put up my feet and the cats to perch.

Did you know that "I LOVE Lucy" is now a stage production in NYC? Bet it's at the LVH in less than 2 years...
forgot to mention Walking Dead (OMG!) - forgot that one also
Unforgettable: might be worth watching. It feels like they took a different twist from the other cop shows with a twist, such as Psych and the Mentalist or Lie to Me. The evidence on people who remember every day of their life is interesting. It's relatively new (and it seems Marilu Henner) is one. I don't think the people remember ALL the details this woman will.

Persons of Interest ... if it's on on the right night, I'll catch it.

I don't think I ever gave Castle a chance. It sounds interesting. In the wheel house of what I like.
and few mention but I am old enough to Love love love it=--9am-10:30am CBS Sunday morning.. 90 minutes of interesting tidbits- again, I DVR and watch after my walk w/ a second cup of coffee..... so relaxing.
