New Television Season

First Big Bang episode. Great. Second, so-so. The parents-the-room gag is old, too old.

CSI, not good. The octopus thing was over the top. Ted Danson -- wrong casting, what did Marge call him? "Moonbeam" That was the best part of the show was the fight at the end.

Person of Interest: intrigued. It's got a perfect time slot for me (granted, I can't watch Millionaire Matchmaker now). The hero is very Jack-Reacher-like. I like that.

Revenge which is also in the Wednesday 10 pm slot was suprisingly good

Mentalist: Solid episode. But you get to use the "that wasn't really Red John" ploy only once.
The grieving wife was very creepy. Well done.
This season, they need to find the real Red John, but he'll escape... barely.
And next season, they need to get him. Otherwise, they're toying with us too much.

I think they may get him this year. Sidebit - why would Jane be allowed to keep his wedding band in prison? I thought they confiscated jewelry

Saw Unforgettable - not bad; clever premise, but some major stretches of believability. Sidebit - The Padded Wagon company is a real moving company and that was their real location. They specialize in moving high end products. Suprised they would lend their name to a "bad" guy

Wouldn't the rules be the same? Now that I have DVR I have become anal about looking for these production errors

I seldom see errors.
Then again, often, when I'm watching, I'm not watching. Even if I were watching, I probably wouldn't see them.
Now, foley artist errors I do hear. In the 1980's, I used to love to hear a teletype sound effect while a CRT slowly displayed a line of text.
