NOLA

jatki99, appreciate your feedback.
If the line is out the door, I'll try the riverfront mall location.

In order to experience a little CDM here in the desert, I ordered their "Coffee and Chicory Regular" with a couple of mugs from the online store.

We were there a while ago (before the hurricane), but we took the swamp tour, the town tour, the plantation tour, visited the aquarium and then took a paddle boat up the river to the zoo, took a boat cruise up (or down - not sure) the Mississippi, and road a streetcar to the old section of town. We enjoyed all of these excursions, and of course we went to the cafe du Monde.

A taste of NOLA arrived at my home today.

Have to tell us what you think when you try the coffee. Love getting those yellow cans!

Ok, NOW you're talking.............Coffee.

Must try.

Will be there ever so briefly next weekend. Coffee & beignets. About all we'll have time for.

We order the stuff by the case. Way to go! Reminds me. We're out.
Yet another reason to visit Ken!

The fenced in back yard is another plus.
Heck with the yard, we'll turn 'em loose down at Surf. They can chase plovers, for miles and miles. Then wine time (for us).

Enjoying a cup now. Took a bit to get used to the chicory flavor. All is good.
I have three to add.

Get a drink at Bar Uncommon.

Eat at Oceania at least once.

Have breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Cafe.
