It now looks like this was much ado about nothing.

Once their squatter camps were taken down, the movement collapsed

Actually, they are going to Washington this week. Don't worry Hoops. I'm sure they'll do something that will make you disingenuously upset.

They are going to try to shut down the shipping ports along the entire west coast Monday. It should be interesting to see a mix of anarchists, communists, environmentalists, anti-capitalists and union thugs take to the streets to interfere with general commerce up and down the coast. They will be blocking streets that will also affect many other businesses and everyday working people. Representing 99% of who?!?
Remember in November which party supports the Occupy protestors and which party does not.....and vote accordingly.

One of the primary goals of occupy is to overturn Citizens United, the Supreme Court decision that allows corporations to contribute to political campaigns. Today I read that Obama has raised more campaign money from corporations so far than all 8 Republican candidates combined. Obama was a corporate whore in the last election and he is out-performing that effort this time around. When one tries to point this out to various occupy groups, more often than not, a typical response is "but if we don't vote for Obama again, who will we vote for?"

Obama and the Democrats fought the Citizens United decision and openly criticized the partisan divide it got in the Supreme Court. They lost. Republicans got their way. Coroprate money is nothing but free speech and they can flood as much cash as they want into the political process. Bob's team won...but now Bob calls his opponent a corporate whore for tapping into the cash Bob's party fought and won for.

What are you talking about? Citizens United was decided more than a year AFTER President Obama was elected.

Seriously, what are you talking about? I mean, other than just making !@#$ up.

Which of the various occupy groups have you actually pointed this out to? Or is this another one of your "not meant to be "sentences?
