Phrases/words we can stop using in the new year

The phrase that I don't like at all and I'm hearing it more and more is "baby bump".

I don't have a replacement, but it also seems weird that we now refer to the most physical aspect of pregnancy and not other things, like family. That is, the woman isn't having a child which will be part of a family. Instead, the woman has "bump".

This too shall pass...
Oh My God!!!

That is so annoying

What about a ginormous baby bump?

"Amazing" has become amazingly annoying.
At least Amazing replaced Awesome as in an "awesome order of french fries". If you use either word more then once a year, you are using it incorrectly.
"The Cloud". It's not a friggin' Cloud. It's a network computing service.

"Whatever". You can get rid of that too. We should just go back to F You.
Candy, was it you I've talked about "amazing" before? I'm thinking of forming a group of "stop with amazing" group. Remember when every third word of a teenager was "like" (okay, for some, it still is). I've heard people saying "amazing" over the stupidist things. Like, "there were flowers on the table, it was amazing." Really? You were "amazed" that someone put flowers in a vase and put it on a table?

In sports, I'd like to see a ban on the word "confidence".

Having just finished typing this, I'm watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. A woman describes the food at a fish and chip shop and says, "it's simply amazing."

What would be amazing is for Tennis_Bum to break even over an entire week playing FPVP.

I flipped over to Pawn Stars. They've used "amazing" several times. Though one usage was appropriate. A Les Paul original guitar that was owned by.... Mary Ford. Amazing would work here. The appraisal was $150,000 for a guitar. The guy asked $250,000.
A word that annoys me is "basically."
The word that is often misused is "hero". Most who label someone a hero have no idea of it's real meaning.
