President Obama's plan

No. Just the 2/3 of people in every poll thats conducted on this issue. And I'm sure all the hardworking, tax paying, legal citizens who engage in the communist programs of Social Security, Medicare, and Education grants are thrilled with your description of them being leeches. That might be a reason why your plan isn't so popular.

Dr Milled, are you really a doctor? I'm dying to find out if you collect income from those leechy programs like Rand Paul and Michelle Bachmann do.

His Real Clear Politics approval average is less than 45%. I think the majority are against him.

His policy of shared sacrifice in tackling the deficit polls at over 63% in every poll. Change the subject much?

Well, two things and I don't think they are political:

I heard the other day a former Fed chief say:

"Why does the USA have a debt ceiling anyway?"

"We are the only industrialized nation in the world who does."

The other quote I heard which I thought was very funny:

Winston Churchill once said,

"You can always count on Americans doing the right thing...after they've tried everything else." LOL

1% of the population pays 39% of the taxes. 47% of the population pays zero. Who is sharing in the sacrifice?

And once again Hoops defines taxes as "Federal Income Tax" and not any of the other 10,000 ways the government can tax someone. But even by Hoop's own definition the richest people in the country (Hedge Fund Managers) pay only half the income tax rate that their secretaries do. Who is not sharing the sacrifice? Every Hedge Fund Manager in the US. But dont dare ask them to participate in austerity...that should only be enforced upon the working stiffs like you and me.

Whoever said Obama had a plan I the first place. MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY IS HARDLY A PLAN. We would all be a lot better off if someone (both parties) could come up with a plan that would work. I truly believe that the a huge percentage of the American people are just about fed up with the entire package in Washington DC.

With just 17% of the country thinking we are headed in the right direction, I do believe you've hit the nail on the head. Throw all the bums out.

Now that sounds like a good plan.
