Reality Check on Jobs

Here's a current look at how we're doing on jobs since the onset of the Great Recession in late 2007.

Pretty incredible to think about where we were relative to where we are now.
I wonder in what sector(s) those jobs were created and what the average wage is?

Don't get me wrong....the presumption is that it's better to have one working and off the public dole than the alternative. However, if the net effect is job creation by the federal government that's being supported/bolstered by U.S. taxpayers, we're prolonging an inevitable correction. I'm happy to be wrong on this and hope it's "real" jobs but anecdotally in my world, I'm not seeing it.

Dan
The best gauge of the employment situation in the country is the % of adult Americans working which has declined every month of owebama's presidency.
The graph shows the out-of-control recession and job losses turned on a dime the day the stimulous package took affect....something the CBO again confirmed this week. But you should know better than to show graphs of actualy statisitcs on this board.

Think both sides will find ammunition
Damn it, Marc. Now I don't know WHAT to think.

WTF, are you on Owebama's payroll or I should say "our" payroll!
All you can ever post is dems bullshit spew! You are a very sad individual if what appears the way your life really is.

Until our country faces facts and gets the lazy ass low life's off every government handout available we are going to struggle! Neither party should pat themselves on the back for anything that has came out of Washington the past 10 years!

Thank you for reposting the graphic. I think repetition of basic employment data like that might help some on this board to understand things better.

I agree that, from your apparent perspective, objective employment data probably does appear as, in your words, "dems bullshit spew". One party plainly has a corner on reality at the moment.

Thank you, my link was out of date. I do, however, think this link is valuable as well as it details the methodology

Between the two sure both sides will find something to comfort them
