Correction...Mitt paid 13.9% interest and thats just fine by MITT. It wasn't fine by Newt. Newt says thats too much. Newt's plan would have MITT pay ZERO.
I would really like to see the elimination of an income tax alltogother along with the IRS in favor of some sort of federal sales tax. I know there would have to be some major tweaking to it to make it more equitable to everyone,but that could certainly be less complex than whats in place now. It sure would make life much simper and i really like the idea of pay as you go instead of the headache every year.
