Oh now Ken, so far I have not wandered to "facebook"! I know that is pretty unbelievable in this day and age I seem to be somewhat late on the "newest and neatest" things.

I think it works both ways......stuff is censored because it turns political - but other tawdy threads are left alone because someone porked another person in Vegas so it is Vegas related.

Some censorship is necessary (you cannot yell fire in a crowded theater) however random censorship or censorship with an "agenda" is asinine.

It just depends what you get out of the forums. At some point you pretty much get as much Vegas information out this place as you CAN get . Or you've done Vegas so many times that there are no secrets left for you to discover. I'm getting pretty close to that point now - after 6 years of posting here.

But its still fun for me...I suspect some day it wont.

For those who think this place is too juvenile - you should have been here about 4 years ago. Buried beneath all of the porn postings and insult threads you miht come accross something that was remotely related to Vegas...and then that would fall into a tirade of insults. Most of those lovely people either got banned or left.

If anyone thinks this is bad (and note, I don't go to the Free Side) I was very active in the old usenet which were discussions boards that were (I think still are) public for the entire internet.

More bad information than good.
