Silver Linings Playbook

One of the best movies all year. This was filmed just outside Philly, starring Philadelphian Bradley Cooper, Robert Di niro and Jennifer Lawrence. A comedy about a patient released from mental hospital and is forced to live by court order with his parents. This movie will ran the gammet of emotions.
8 Oscar nominations. Don't short change yourself. This is a very good movie..............
I agree. I might even go see it a second time. (Long on time, shortage of movie fodder.)
Just saw it for the 3rd time and still loved it. ITs still playing strong in theaters even now.
There must be a reason.........
I have heard it is very good, but it would have a long way to go to be better than Argo or Lincoln

I'm not sure how you would measure better, but it's certainly deep and may not be for everyone.
I saw Argo and Lincoln and they were very good, I wouldn't go see either again.

This was not a slight on you, but Silver linings just tickled my wire because I was from philly and I love Di niro. Anything he touches turns to gold.
Come Oscar time Watch out...........Jennifer lawrence..........
"This was not a slight on you"

None taken
Went to see silver lining Playbook for the second time with my friend and her husband and the theatre really filled up at the last minute for the
4 pm show. At the end of this viewing I realized that this movie has universal appeal, so despite the early discomfort of OCD-isms the movie quickly moves into superstitious football behaviors, gambling, dancing with the stars with a featured mediocre dance couple, and sweet romantic endings for the ladies.
Glad you enjoyed it again. It struck home with me because I was from Philly and had family members with
personality disorders. They played this off with alot of class and taste and didn't make them out to be a freak show. Bradley Cooper is a De Niro protege and will be around for a long time to come......
