Stop the mailing labels!!

I have more than I'll ever use if I live to be 200.
You can't just throw them in the trash...that's asking for identity theft.
You can't shred them...the glue clogs things up.
You can't make a donation to a charity and expect it to end there.

They won't leave you alone afterwards.
Snail mail every other month for life.
WITH FREAKING MAILING LABELS!!!

Charities...if I send you something, don't mail me asking for more until 1 year has passed.
If you will do this, I'll probably give again.
But if I hear from you the next month and again and again, no more from me.

The Grinch

Why are people so worried about putting address labels in the garbage for identity theft? All the same informantion can be gleemed from the phone book.

Sounds a little paranoid to me.

One needs to take care account numbers, credit card numbers, drivers license numbers, and social security numbers --- but name and address?

Just mail them back

Many ages ago, it was Christmas/greeting cards.

Funny, cause I am a slot attendant, and several times a day, I have to ask someone for their social security number, and seldom does anyone ever hesitate to give it. Being afraid to throw away address labels, in my opinion, is definitely high drama at least, and paranoia at most.
Candy,

I totally understand! I also get offended when I feel my hard earned Donation, is
whittled away to nothingness because they Spend it on more & more, Mailings!!

Especially, when you Just Gave, and Here comes another envelope....... What?

I have also wanted to say, Stop it! Because, when they Don't stop it?
They get axed from my Donation List.

We've also given to other charities, like a Fundraiser, or even a Donation in lieu of flowers for a Funeral....... and before you know it?
Here comes an envelope asking for More.......
Yes, I agree.
I gave a to a Austin, Texas animal rescue because of a Texas LVAer I believe in- we're friends on Facebook too.
She and her organization do so much needed good work but the mailers come 4 times a year and I'm not gonna give anymore- shame and a waste
I sent the GOP a check for one dollar in 2006. Since then I've gotten at least fifty mailings asking for more, along with photos ofPres. Bush, McCain, Palin, so on and so forth. Great investment on my part.
Yes, great investment. You must own alot of dartboards.

........... not very much different than the casinos that we frequent.

Ya make a "donation", and then they send you freebies in the mail.
