Surprise 60th birthday present!

Do I have the best kids or what! They surprised me w/an early 60th birthday present (I turn 60 in Nov.)!

They gave me 2 tickets to see "David Foster & Friends" at the Mandalay Bay! I've been raving about wanting to see his show since they gave me the DVD to his 1st show at MB a few years ago. It's nice to know they actually listen when I ramble on about something I love so much - music

I actually the other night saw my local PBS station when they were running the Jackie Evancho special trying to get people to buy tickets to the David Foster and Friends Mandalay Bay show for $250 and $150 I think (but I don't remember where the seats were located)!

CLV, you crack me up!! LOL!!! I guess I just wasn't thinking fast enough! Or maybe I was just tired when I posted it after having the 6 & 12 yr old granddaughters all day Hard to explain that one if only turning 50!!! LOL!!!

I feel like we are already lucky! Turns out one of our favorite smooth jazz artists Brian Culbertson is going to be at the Santa Fe the night before the David Foster concert! And we had just seen Brian here at home in June at The Fraze. It's usually our luck someone we want to see was just there before we get there or right after we leave. Super stoked about 2 great concerts in a row!!

Almost forgot!! Another reason it would be hard to lie about turning 50 - TODAY is my son's 38th birthday

OMG!!! I just realized something! I'm typing this almost 38 yrs to the minute when he was born - 10:30 pm! One of the happiest days of my life!
