Today In Bama World

With all of the previously mentioned problems, the govt is headed for a shutdown this Friday & the crisis in Japan what did the bama do this weekend - PLAYED YET ANOTHER ROUND OF GOLF.

The absence of leadership continues

When the current president is in the White House signing legislation into law, Hoops does alot of complaining.

When the current president takes an occassional day off, Hoops does alot of complaining.

When the previous president that Hoops voted for twice broke the record for taking the most days off, Hoops did alot of .....not complaining.

I quoted you.

I used your own words.

What you wrote suggests you are insane. Maybe you're not, but what you wrote suggests you are.

I said:

Obama can not even use the words muslim and terrorist in the same sentence.

You said:

Is your insane theory that, through silence, President Obama has expressed his approval of the murder of American servicemembers when performed by extremists of certain religions?

Is that really how twisted you've become?

You'd have to spend a lot of time making sense in these forums for me to switch to believing you're sane.

You put words in my mouth. I never blamed Obama for anything. I just said he is weak.

You must be insane because you keep calling me that.
Carry on.

What has been Obama's response?

You can keep yapping.

But nothing you can say can explain away the crazy, factually untrue garbage you wrote above.

Reposted here, unedited, to remind others of your nature.

Obama is the weakest president we have ever had. He does not know how to respond to the Muslim terrorist threat. He is over his head...
In 1983, after terrorist bombers had killed 241 of our Marines, soldiers, and sailors in Beiruit, President Ronald Reagan chose to.........withdraw our troops from Lebanon.

I'm just curious; is that how we should respond to terrorists?

In fairness, lets not forget he did invade Grenada. Perhaps thats where geedubya got the idea of invading Iraq from. Being the student of history that he is, he figured he'd pull a play from the Gippers playbook and attack a different country, thus sending the terrorist a rather strong message.
When the current president is in the White House signing legislation into law, Hoops does alot of complaining. - he signs legislation that only 40% of the country supports

When the current president takes an occassional day off, Hoops does alot of complaining. - In less than 2 years he has the record for most days playing golf. What about that several week hawaii vacation in December?

The point I was making is that we have numerous problems all boiling up at the same time & bama is nowhere to be seen on these issues. Stalwart liberal institutions such as the Washington Post, NY Times & Newsweek as well as members of his own party have all noted the same thing

I see. Days off "playing golf" count more than days off "clearing brush", because mowing the lawn at the Crawford Ranch isn't really vacation time. Thats hard work, not vacation !

PS - The record for days off playing golf is actually held by the current Speaker of the House. And I know Hoops is livid about it !

So PJ's point through sarcasm is that both Bush and Obama lacked the proper dedication to tackling the serious issues of our time....and we need a President who has the tenacity to forgo his vacation and PTO for 4 years while he focuses on bringing a divided nation together....I think you may be on to something, but far be it from me to put words in your mouth.

Far be it from you, indeed. Because if I were to make such a point then I would have to believe in the false equivalence of vacation days taken by the two presidents which in reality is outweighed by the former president on a scale of 3:1

But I never spent time criticizing GWB about his days off. In fact, I would have preferred he took 365/days a year off for his entire tenure. Our country would have been much better off. There are plenty of legitimate gripes to have with the leadership of the former president. I dont have to be petty and cry about his vacation days.

Of course, anyone who voted for Bush twice who uses "vacation days" as a metric for blasting the performance of the current president...is....you know.....A MASSIVE HYPOCRITE SUFFERING FROM A MASSIVE FIT OF FALSE OUTRAGE ! GRRRRRRR !!!!
