I will try to update you time to time about how Pat is doing. Pat was in the ICU for 13 or 14 days. She was moved to a regular room for 1 day and her lung developed a air pocket between her lung and the lining of her lung. They inserted a tube through her chest and vacuumed the air out and her lung went back to normal. She is now back in a regular room # 361 at Elmbrook. We got bad news on her cancer it is very hard to cure. I still have to talk to Dr Burkert her Oncolorgest he is out of town until Tuesday. Please DON"T CALL ME during the afternoon because I try to get a nap in. The best time to get me is 8pm to midnight. PLEASE KEEP PAT IN YOUR PRAYERS!!! Dick
Please continue to keep Pat and Dick in your prayers!
Pat is now back in a regular room # 361 at Elmbrook. I have talk to Dr Burkert her Oncolorgest. He tod me that her cancer can not be cured. We can treat it but that will make her sick from the radiation and kimo and would add only a little time for her. At this time we will let nature take it's course. Pat is not in any pain and looks comfortable. PLEASE KEEP PAT IN YOUR PRAYERS!!! Dick"
I googled the address in case anyone would like to send a card to Pat.
PAT PUPS ROOM 361 ELMBROOK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL 19333 WEST NORTH AVE BROOKFIELD, WI 53045
Really thanks for the update Joyce, just so sorry to hear that!
I'm writing a card to Dick & Pat as we speak. Thanks for posting her hospital address. Mailing tomorrow. Told them I wish we were all hitting royals right now, and then lunch at Grand Luxe. Thats the last place I had lunch with them, and one of their favs.
Maybe others who send a card, can put a memory or two, in their card for Pat & Dick........
