Where did the political threads go?

The 3-4 political, non-stop bickering folks, think, that if they can't post their POL garbage, it will cause a hurt on the LVA's bottom line! HAHA! How full of yourself are you?

Some one please explain how political, back and forth banter that never comes to an agreed upon conclusion, and ends up in vicious name calling and insults, is good for the LVA's bottom line!?

And then the two comments about liking to argue politics, that end up in vicious name calling with "friends" as the reason they won't go to a political message board.

Let me set one thing straight for you....Unless you have met these folks in person, they are NOT your friends. Just another person behind a keyboard that you don't know, but love to argue with.

Another thing.....You didn't know any of the people here prior to your signing up for LVA...how hard would it be to sign up and start meeting people and arguing with friends on a political message board!?

Sheeesh

You can't make this shit up!

AMEN for the decision to ban that garbage! Its Anthony's web site, and he can do whatever he wants with it!

This is actually pretty funny! Our NASCAR Fantasy League on the FFA forum has absolutely nothing to do with Las Vegas or gambling, and trash talk is encouraged!

I'm sure most people who have no interest in NASCAR just ignore those posts....

All hail they have made kens day. Blah blah blah. Must be we ruffled the feathers of a B O supporter. So must be a Dem victory.

Don't believe that one ken there are a lot of reasons many have jumped ship. Don't worry this topic does not deserve any more of my time. I will probably be censored anyway.

You are trying to compare a shit- talking, name calling, endless amount of politcal crap to a Nascar Fantasy League? Try again pal.

First off...There is a nascar race in Las Vegas every year, and secondly LOTS of us BET on Nascar races here in Vegas. Those two reasons alone have everything to do with Las Vegas, as do most sporting event type threads.

Sure the Fantasy League encourages trash talking....but we don't do much (if any) of it.

Take some time now and go read the Nascar threads....then come back and show me where there has been any trash talking, that is even remotely offensive, and repetitive , never ending arguing, about the same tired crap!

I won't hold my breath...cause you won't find any.

Thanks for trying anyways...and we'll see you at politico.com

Respectfully - how does one separate Gambling and Politics?

Isn't every new casion a political battle? Isn't there a long history of bribing politicians in Las Vegas and other gambling areas?

To arbitrarily delete posts in a paid Kitchen Sink forum without changing the terms of service is a bad customer service move that will have a price.

It's Anthony's "pool" but if the service is bad, I can spend my money to swim elsewhere. How can anyone say the service is good? We pay to have slow web sites and coupon books without match plays? No thank you. I think I deserve better and I will take my money elsewhere.

If you are happy, stay and keep paying.

WC Fields said there are suckers born every minute.

Yeah I think Dale Junior sucks but I would never argue with one of his fans on there. LOL

Seriously, if someone isn't happy here or at any forum, they should leave.

I don't understand why some see their membership as an entitlement and go all "kardashian" when they leave.
We've seen dozens and dozens and dozens of people climb atop the bully pulpit, deride the establishment, threaten to leave (some actually do) all while predicting the demise of Las Vegas Advisor because of and in the wake of their departure. It's happened over the ill-conceived test run of the new architecture, the lack of customer care, the presence of certain posters, the absence of certain posters, the imposition of new rules (or the lack thereof) and, in some cases, the lack of proper meds. The huffing and puffing will happen in the future.

The house still stands.
I will hasten jphelan's exit with his next hostile post. Believe it.

It still boils down to, if you see a topic that you know is something you wouldn't be interested in reading, don't click on it! If you didn't like political threads in the KS, why would you read them?
Bob, this really isn't about one clicking on a thread one is not interested in them complaining about it, it's about the change in policy and change in policy apparently without notice. I'm not interested in political threads and rarely open them. I started 2 threads in the "sink" because every time I looked at threads in "the sink," they were political.
