I am not familiar enough with Wisconson statute to comment intelligently on the topic.

And the article doesn't provide enough detail for a person to make a reasoned conclusion. Prosecutors will have to demonstrate that they were "easy targets" were based solely on the color of their skin and not the fact that the individuals picked on were easy pray because they were physically unimpressive. Again, not enough information in the article to conclude one way or another.

The incidents were in Wisconsin at their State Fair. They should be charged with a hate crime but I doubt that will happen.

I'm pretty sure thats an easy one to answer. I'm sure sharpton and jesse would come out ,ala tawanda whats her name. They would prob bring it to national attention.

That's a good point. I don't claim to know anything about Wisconsin's laws either but I would be shocked if the liberals ever allowed a white person to be a victim of a hate crime in any state.

Did you notice that I didn't speak in absolutes or guarantees? I would have to back that up if I said that it NEVER happened. I should clarify that I meant white and heterosexual. Of course, homosexuals of every race can be victims of hate crimes. Perhaps you can prove to me that it happens just as often.

Well Billy, according to fbi.gov, there are more white hate crime victims than I expected. Before you get all giddy and excited, it is nowhere close to the overall racial percentages. For example, out of the reported hate crimes in the last five years, the percentage of those victims that are white ranged from about 16% to 21%. For example in 2009, out of 3816 hate crime victims, 652 (16.5%) were anti-white but this doesn't tell the whole story to me. I would like to know the total number of crimes committed against white people committed by non-white people and vice-versa. Then, I could calculate those percentages. Let x represent the total number of crimes against white victims by non-white perps and y represent the the total number of crimes committed by against non-white victims by white perps. Calculate 652/x times 100% and 3164/y times 100%. A larger population group should have more total victims therefore the percentages within those victims would be higher. Of course, Billy may not consider fbi.gov as a legitimate source. Maybe it is controlled by the Tea Party?

State Crimes are enforced by the state police in Wisconsin - which last time I checked is run by a Republican Administration. I do not know Wisconsin's hate crime laws but I support additional penalties be imposed upon people whose motivations for crime lie in ignorant racism. So I have no problem with a black kid getting extra time for "targetting White People".

I also dont mind this dude in MIssissippi getting extra time for gang-beating a black man and then running him over with a truck as he limped away.
