Windows 8

It was a serious PITA to do the upgrade, on a brand new computer no less -- shouldn't have been this hard!!!!! -- but in the first few seconds after it was activated -- about 10 hours ago -- I was wowed. I have a Windows 8 for Dummies book that I'm reading so I can reap more of the benefits than I would just figuring things out on my own. I'm one of the least techie people on this board, I am sure, so I'm really studying!

Anyone else have a problem installing and/or now that you have it, how would you grade Windows 8 Pro?

Bought my wife a brand new laptop with Windows 8 for Christmas and it is driving her nuts. It is not at all like 7. It is obviously optimized for tablest, phones and touch screens so if you have a standard desktop or laptop might want to seriously rethink 8.
