WOW, that was confusing

Yes I did read the warning that staff was trying to retrieve posts from the last six months but we may lose the latest post. However It was still a shock to log-in and find myself back in September. I suppose the brilliant thought I posted this morning is lost forever.

If it is really September again, can I get a redo on the first couple of weekends of football betting?
I think my posts this morning are gone too! Oh well, I guess we can't have it all. The system seems to be working faster now, which is great.
I'm afraid not too many of us come here anymore-- you have trouble a few times and move on to others things, them forget you loved this place.

never thought I could do w/o LVA for my daily bread
I still think it's great. Reading everyone's viewpoints, trip reports, especially Sionow's, westie's contribution for coupons, and Gregrio's entertainment reviews. The system is working faster this morning, too. I'm still a fan of LVA!

rockymet, welcome to today, whatever day that may be.
Lisa,

You posted on the 18th and I read it on the 19th. Does that mean that yesterday was today or is today? I'm still confused!

Reminds me of that time I went into Mermaids to pick up some free beads and came out three days later

Bingo.

Much of the "life" that is LVA now takes place on the FFA, and it's been that way for quite a while. When I think back to the 50, 80, 100 folks who over the years really gave life to this place, all but a few have moved on, and most all of those who remain have little to do with this place even as they maintain some level of contact. It's understandable. The old neighborhood changes in life and in cyberdom. New interests, boredom, disaffection with customer service or the product. I know I was here more for the people than the content; how many times does a person really need to hear about the luscious MSS buffet or who has the best 3.99 lobster tail? And we simply don't want to Vegas as we previously Vegased. We want to put our travel time, dollars and interests into the diversity that is this country and beyond. Finally, on a professional level, Vegas is now just a small part of what I do.

As you and I do, Sis, it's nice to maintain some of those ties elsewhere, online and in the world.
Still drop in occasionally, and do miss the old LVA days. Best to all.

It's a sign. You're next Vegas trip will be a winning one!

Agreed. I miss the activity as well. Still come here every few days, but not as religiously as I used to. I know some folks are over on Las Vegas Chatter, but as far as chat rooms and message boards, I don't know where everybody goes these days.

Still love my monthly LVA newsletter and coupons, though, so I'll be here for as long as I keep going to Vegas.
