13 New Indictments Today – Proof Of Russian Interference

All Russian nationals along with three Russian groups.  I just finished reading the whole indictment. I encourage all my conservative friends to read it so they will realize how thoroughly they bought into Russian propaganda.

Oh, and the next time someone including the President and or Vice President try to say there is no evidence the Russians were working on behalf of Donald Trump point them to that link.

Remember how Donny refused to put in place those bipartisan Russian sanctions congress passed?

No indictments of anybody from the Trumo campaign & no evidence that they knowlingly did.

Mark & company for almost 2 years proclaimed that Trump/Russian collusion gave Trump the election

Sorry mark - nothing here.  13 indictments against people who will never go to trial

Correction Tom - 4 indictments from the Trump campaign.....and 2 guilty verdicts....and 1 more in negotiation stage.

And there's more to come (indictments ...and your shrugging them off)

i was referring to today.  The democrats have said for 18 months that Trump colluded with the Russians.  Still nothing

I think Tom likes to move the goal posts. Let’s not forget our fearless leader has been saying it is a hoax for the last 18 months.

And back in November, Trump said he accepts Russian president Vladimir Putin’s assurance that no election interference occurred. “He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did.” Plus, he indicated it made Putin mad if he brought up the subject, so he wasn't going to bring it up anymore.

That is certainly evidence of gross incompetence is it not? I suspect we will soon have evidence of collusion between Russia and high-ranking members of Trump’s staff. However, as I said in another thread, I don’t care what they get Trump for money laundering, computer crimes or conspiracy as long as they get him. The guy is as dirty as they come.

There is a very well dociumented meeting of his son colluding with Russians in an encounter they  ultimately tried to hide from the public ...and got caught lying about.

But thats ok.   The goal here isn't to convert Trump disciples into honest brokers of morality and ...truth.    Its just to investigate and prosecute scum.   So far so good.

The only negative thing about the Russia investigation is it drowns out the other corruption in the Trump admiinstration surrounding financial abuse of his cabinet members and no-bid contracts awarded to family of cabinet members.

"There is a very well dociumented meeting of his son colluding with Russians"

So where is the indictment?

That isn’t how it works.  Muller is laying out an underlying crime to pave the way for conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges against American targets. I also expect him to layout the crime of hacking Hillary and the DNC’s emails in a similar fashion.  Once you have the crimes established, you can start to bring in guys like Don Jr, Kushner, Flynn, Manafort and so on and tie them to one of the criminal conspiracies you have already proven.

Aren’t you going to comment on Donny and some of the congressional Republican’s gross incompetence and downright treasonous behavior in the last 18 months denying Russian involvement and doing everything they could to sabotage the investigation?

Its not clear that colluding with Russia is illegal.     I'm not a legal scholar but my layman understanding is that its only illegal if money or some other cash-equivalent item is granted by the foreign entity.      Its unclear if intelligence qualifies.  I'll leave it to the experts.

Regardless of legality -  I cant fathom the level of scum that would motivate someone to  engage a hostile foreign power to help them win an election.      And thats exactly what happened.  And it is an uncontested fact.   And that is collusion.

Maye you dont have a problem with Don Jr booking a meeting with Russian Intelligence officers with the documented intention of getting dirt on his opponent...and then lying about it afterwards.     Its a free country.  You can be comfortable with whatever you want.

I'm comfortable letting the authorities continue to prosecute criminals.

That is the point of bringing charges like these. Collusion by itself isn't much, but once you establish a crime, anybody that participates in it (by a should have known standard) can be charged as an accessory to that crime. Generically, this crime is simply referred to conspiracy.  Even if someone simply enjoys the fruits of a crime after it was committed, they can still be charged as an accessory after the fact.  For example when Goldstone sent the email to Don Jr. Setting up the Trump Tower meeting he said, "[this] is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump." that could put Don Jr. on the hook for same charges that were filed today against the Russian agents if Goldstone was speaking of the activities disclosed today. The indictment makes a point of mentioning that others both known and unknown to the Grand Jury participated in the criminal conspiracy.
