158 Dems vote against bill to deport illegal immigrants who commit sex crimes

The scum that DemocRat voters have elected - More than 150 House Democrats voted against a bill that would deport illegal immigrants convicted of a sexual offense or conspiracy to commit such a crime. - Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., told Fox News Digital hours before the vote that she "100%" anticipated Democrats voting against her bill. "If you vote against it, you're sexist against women," Mace declared. - The Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act passed the House of Representatives along bipartisan lines on Wednesday. All present Republicans voted for the bill, as did 51 Democratic lawmakers. The measure passed 266 to 158. Among the Democrats who voted for the bill are Reps. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska; Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez, D-Wash.; Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla.; and Hillary Scholten, D-Mich. Two of the Democrats who voted for it are seeking higher office — Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., is running for Senate, and Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., is running for governor. In addition to deporting migrants convicted of sex crimes, the legislation would also deem illegal immigrants who admit to domestic violence or sex-related charges — or are convicted of them — to be inadmissible in the U.S. - https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dems-vote-against-bill-deport-illegal-immigrants-who-commit-sex-crimes

Crimes involving sex and/or violence should be prosecuted as they normally are. Deportation of convicted criminals has never been a punishment imposed in the US judicial system, and would thus constitute unusual punishment, which is unconstitutional.

This was an immigrant-hatred dog whistle bill, and Biden will veto it if it passes the Senate, so, much ado about nothing.

Once again you are incorrect and your law degree should be revoked immediately.  Deportation has long been part of criminal prosecution of undesirable migrants and illegal aliens.

True. Which is the exact reason this bill is so incredibly useless. It's already the law!

I bet you didn't mean to prove that, did you Aaron?

MAGA likes to bring "statement" legislation, it doesn't accomplish anything but their base can feel good about it, and they can bash the Dems for not supporting it.

Real solutions for the border,? They have no interest in a lasting solution.

Perhaps, stoopid, but I was talking about criminal prosecution of sexual and violent crimes, not for being "undesirable."

Your race hatred is showing.

Lol, liberals always resort to the race card when they have lost the argument.

Here's one for you.  If a black and a white person have a kid, why do liberals always label the kid black?  Why not white?  Kind of white supremicist, hey?

I could care less about melanin.  What a stupid thing to talk about.  For me, that is just another kid.  I wish them all well and success.

MAGAs bitching about IMMERGENTS are always motivated by "replacement theory" and race hatred. When you used the term "undesirable migrants," I knew that was you.

I get it, undocumented sexual predators and small children are desired by you and liberals, but you don't have to make it obvious.

"according to the Inspector General's report, as of May of this year, DHS had failed to provide court notices to at least 291,000 unaccompanied children. That is to say: your agency may have lost track of more than a quarter million unaccompanied children—a horrifyingly large number.

My two boys are half white and half Japanese, my ancestry is a very mixed bag of a bunch of European countries. My paternal side of the family immigrated from Germany in 1840 and on my maternal side, my grandmother was a proud member of the Daughters of the Americah Revolution. On the other hand, my wife is 100% Japanese, both of her parents were interned in Camp Amache during WWII when they were kids. My kids look Japanese, people see them who see an Asian person, so why shouldn't they be proud of that?

When my oldest son and his girlfriend were in Japan, people would come up to him and speak to him in Japanese, does that mean they were racist?

When my wife and I were in Japan last May, she would hang back when we entered a restaurant so the people working there would see me first and speak to us in English if they could, I thought it was funny!
