19th straight month of real wage declines

From the Dallas Federal Reserve:

"We find that a majority of employed workers’ real (inflation-adjusted) wages have failed to keep up with inflation in the past year. For these workers, the median decline in real wages is a little more than 8.5 percent. Taken together, these outcomes appear to be the most severe faced by employed workers over the past 25 years."   Worst in 25 years.  Thanks for the declining standard of living, Democrats.   We'll all be living in 'Bidenvilles' before too long.

Charles...God, you're stupid. The Biden administration doesn't pay the nation's workers' wages. And neither political party is responsible for inflation--although your gang makes it a standard bleat to blame the Democrats.

Do you have the balls to answer this question? No, but I'll ask it anyway. If inflation is due to the horrible horrible heinous actions of Democrats/the Biden administration, how come inflation is considerably lower in the US than in the rest of the industrialized world?

"Its," not "it's." Moron.

Do you have the balls to even try to answer the question I posed, above? If the American Rescue Plan caused inflation, how come inflation is lower in the US than almost anywhere else?

Americans got to choose which party is best to confront inflation:  the one that lowered their  drug prices....or the one who wants to see whats on Hunter Biden's laptop.      And America has spoken.

Did Kevin just call me 'God'?  Well compared to him, he's right, but let's look at his question:

He says US Inflation is "Considerably lower than the rest of the industrialized world"?

Let's start with the World's Top 3 economies by GDP and their October inflation rate:

United States Inflation rate:  7.7%

China Inflation Rate:  2.1%

Japan Inflation Rate:  3.0%

Does 7.7% look lower than 2.1% and 3%?  Bad at math too.  I could just say Kevin is the stupid one and case closed, but it's important to look deeper into the numbers than the top 3.

Here is an analysis from the San Francisco Federal reserve on WHY US INFLATION WAS HIGHER IN 2021 THAN IN OTHER COUNTRIES.

Why Is U.S. Inflation Higher than in Other Countries? | San Francisco Fed (frbsf.org)

Of course the Federal Government and Democrat policies in particular are largely responsible for inflation in the US, but you'll note that in the last few months several European countries like the UK (11.1%) and Germany (10.9%) have caught up with us.  There are reasons for that.

Germany has experienced a 43% increase in energy costs of the last year because of their Green Energy Policies and dependence on Russia.  Canada (6.9%) and the UK made similar mistakes as the US with their irresponsible fiscal and monetary policy.

Would Kevin have us believe that just because some other countries made similar mistakes to the Biden administration that Biden and the Democrat congress are no longer accountable for the damage caused?   Does he think inflation has been created from whole cloth or appeared out of thin air?

Biden apologists like Kevin have given us 20 different excuses about inflation and the state of the US economy....everything from claiming 'it's transitory to corporate greed.  Fact is we've known the root causes of inflation for decades.  Fact is the Biden administration was warned about this back in March of 2021, but they ignored those warnings

Larry Summers, who was Treasury Secretary for President Clinton and ran the National Economic Council for President Obama, warned at the time that Democrats' big spending plans would trigger, ‘inflationary pressures of a kind we have not seen in a generation.’  He was right and Democrats didn't listen.

Jason Furman, who chaired President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, said the same thing. He said the Democrats’ spending binge was, ‘definitely too big for the moment and 'I don’t know any economist that was recommending something the size of what was done.’  He was right and Democrats didn't listen.

And then we have the cynically named "Inflation Reduction Act".  Democrats were warned about that too....by over 230 economists.

Regardless of the facts Kevin will continue to deny even the least bit of Biden Administration accountability for the miserable economic times we are in with a historic declining standard of living because wages aren't keeping up with Bidenflation.   If you think things are bad now, wait until we have to stop pumping from our emergency oil reserves and the Fed continues with it's quantitive tightening and raising interest rates.  Hopefully they can negotiate a soft landing, but I'm not so sure that's in the cards.  One thing I do know with certainty...Kevin is an idiot.

Man does Charles school you in this forum, Kevin.

Can you just comment on the Japan and China inflation rates in the first part, please?

Charles is a big Larry Summer's disciple...but only sometimes.

Larry SUmmers: Republicans who fan Jan 6 coup cause inflation

And Charles  is jealous of the inflation numbers from  China where the people are still locked inside their apartments and unable to open their stores.    If only we could be more like them !    Maybe you should move there, Charles !

AMerica got to see all the cherry picked, Sean Hannity talking points about inflation during the election.   And they saw throigh it.   But if you think Democrat spending causes inflaiton - butr Republican spending doesnt...well you should be dressed up in horns with a giant Q arund your neck.

Americans chose Republicans to take over the House.  It's just as much of a mandate for change as when the Democrats held their slim majority in 2020.  America has spoken!

And lowered drug prices for Medicare only and doesn't start until 2026 at the potential cost of losing new R&D for drugs that target the elderly.  Yeah that's just awesome.
