2024 may be the last election

Trump has stated that he will make himself dictator for life if he wins

Did not say that.  He did say, tongue in cheek, that he would be dictator for 1 day to overturn sleepy's executive orders.

It is the democrats who are working overtime with the help of their allies in the DOJ and court system to prevent their number 1 threat from running.

NY democrats have ignored a NYS law that established a redistricting commissionto do draw HR districts.  They then stacked the courts to help them.

They worked with the media to restrict conservative media on the internet.

They then tried to mandate vaccines, masks & social distancing.

They mandated business closures & churches with no scientific evidence, but kept some businesses open at their discretion.

Schools were closed with massive learning losses.

FBI & the DOJ have been weaponized to prosecute democrat party opposition.

Mayor Adams complains about the birder & suddenly he is under FBI investigation.  He is now quiet.

Trump was quickly indicted over his documents but the biden investigation on his theft of documents as a senator has gone nowhere.  Bear in mind senators are NOT allowed to have confidential documents.

FBI chases after mother's groups complaining about their children's education.

Democrats are against school choice; they prefer to educate children in state sponsored schools.

Ca as well as other democrat states want to eliminate the people's choice in cars, home appiances and how they heat & cook.

To protect their dear leader they didn't have any debates & pushed Kennedy out of the primaries.  The primary schedule was stacked so biden's best states went first.

Rumours increase that after the nomination is secured, biden will then drop out & declare his delegates for another candidate.  Is that democratic, to vote for 1 person & then have that candidate switched out?

Push to remove a rival party's member removed from Congress but keep an indicted senator?

Dear leader is rarely seen in public; maybe once or twice a week, at which point someone guides him around & he mumbles a few sentences & is escortedback to his car, chopper or plane

Tom, absolutely none of your bleating has anything to do with your hero's dictatorial plans. And yeah, "tongue in cheek." Just like he was joking about murdering Mexicans, "grabbing them by the pussy," etc. etc. etc.

Why do you continue to be a love-slave to that awful man? I'm really puzzled.

How can ANY of us have any pride in what our politicians are doing to us?  They work for their party or own their relection, not for us.  If they did, our debt wouldn't skyrocket, they wouldn't make more money than most people dream of and they would have some manners!!!

Good post.  Most of them couldn't get regular jobs either.

A blanket dismissal of ALL politicians is exactly what allows the awful ones to seize power. Not acknowledging that Trump and his lackeys are a special (sadly, far from unique) kind of rotten is essentially forfeiting your duty to make an informed choice (however long that lasts).

Several of the things Trump has done, and many, many of the things he's said, should instantly disqualify him from office, in the hearts and minds of voters if not legally per se. Saying "Feh, all politicians are %$%^%$" is belittling the problem.

Of course, there are also the people, to use the term loosely, who are titillated and ginned up by Trump's horrid thoughts and actions.

I don't disagree for your disdain with Trump.  He is definitely the bottom of the barrel of an awfully deep barrel of politician garbage.

President Trump was 100% correct when he said it was impossible for him to lose a fair election - which is why he lost in 2020 - the election was stolen and every sane person in America knows that.

And you can take brain dead Biden's word for it when he says it is raining outside as he continues to piss in your ear...

I think that even you know that is bullshit. It's never impossible for anyone to lose a free and fair election. And don't say that the 2020 election was anything other than that.

You do nothing more than shame yourself by repeating the lie.

He isn't the problem per se. There are awful people everywhere. The problem is the awful people who lick his butt. He should never have gotten a tenth as far as he has. That more than 1% of the electorate actually thought he would be a good President staggers the imagination. The 2016 election should not have even been remotely close. Clinton wasn't everyone's dream candidate, but choosing the Turd over her...? Jesus.

I guess what really bothers me is that I know some folks who didn't really surprise me when they mutated into Trumpers--but I also knew a number of perfectly sane and reasonable people who also drank the Kool-aid. Suddenly, those folks were spouting conspiracy theories and echoing the Turd's nuggets of wisdom like seasoned MAGAs. It was dumbfounding.

One family I was only acquainted with, they all decided not to get the covid vaccine after Trump said it wasn't going to work. The husband was then sick with covid for two solid months and still hasn't recovered. The wife was only down for a month. They were basically invalids for that combined month and their kids had to fly cross-country to take care of them, switching off and burning all their vacation time.

I don't think Trump would have been anything more than a failed businessman in a smarter country.

He really is a dumb SOB.  And a total narcissist.  I was arguing with my brothers back in 2015 when they were telling me how successful of a businessman he is.  They couldn't believe I was going against that as a republican.

Cheater, scammer, sleeze, narcissist, celebrity about sums him up.  I still to this day cannot believe this country elected him.  I have to assume any good policies he put in place were done by other party officials.  He is more concerned about listening to himself talk than anything else.
