Do the governors have inside information on who will win?  

If we look back at all the violence, riots and protests by the left after Trump won in 2016, it appears they might have an inside scoop of the likely outcome of this election and insight into the Harris campaign's true polling numbers that have not been released publicly.

The left is extremely violent when they don't get their way and if their usual cheat doesn't overcome the too big to rig true voting effort by the right, they are going to meltdown!

There are hundreds of videos of these from 2016 and 2017.  Yeah, the violent left screaming "Not my president!" and rioting through cities and denying the election results.  

How you've memory holed the truth.

They weren't trying to overthrow the government. They didn't sack the US capital, piss all over the place and smear feces on the wall. They didn't stop electoral vote counting. That insurrection was led by the head of the Republican party.

You look at the guy that started a insurrection which lead to 6 deaths and say that's my guy and it's ok to vote for him because their were "riots" in Portland. 

Wikipedia: Within 36 hours, six people died: one was shot by Capitol Police, another died of a drug overdose, three died of natural causes, and a police officer died after being assaulted by rioters.  And the last one is false, the police officer died of unrelated causes.  

You believe any tripe the media feeds you.  How about an investigation into the pipe bombs, one of which was at the DNC when Harris was there, why no media attention?  Why did that sham January 6 committee delete all interviews and only keep a transcript which was redacted when video is the only applicable evidence in court.  Why can't we know how many feds were in the crowd and what they did?  Why were all secret service and fbi devices wiped?  Too many open questions and it was minor compared to what the Democrats have done since 2016 with their rioting, fires and looting due to the election, antifa and Floyd.

Returning to this issue, it's clear why Democrats cities are locking down, they are afraid of their own loonie tune base.  Are you dusting off your black antifa gear?
