4.7 Trillion In New Taxes

Why were revenues up?

Lots of reasons - not the least of which was a massive increase in government spending.    Republicans released the military sequester among other endeavors which flooded businesses with new money.   And 0% interest rates made more people buy houses and cars.    And those things made the stock market go higher.

All of that brings in Federal Tax revenue.  And if you think all of that artificial government intervention into the economy was a good thing then you really need to stop lecturing about "free shit" and "socialism".    Whatdya say?

Stupid Boiler LUVVVVVS "free shit" when the recipients are big corporations--his RepubliQ buddies' masters.

Is that hypocrisy or idiocy? Or both?

Government cutting taxes always increases GNP, although there tends to be a lag.  After such tax cuts, more people have jobs and pay taxes.  More people have better jobs and pay more taxes.  Here's the rub.  Democrats want high corporate taxes, but these taxes make companies less competitive and less profitable in a world economy.  This policy amounts to lower GNP, lower profits, and fewer jobs.  Republicans want companies to do well, and to pay more employees more money.

Actually, stupid, taxation has nothing to do with GNP, as that occurs and is calculated BEFORE taxes are levied. Idiot.

The rest of your post is nothing more than an excerpt from "Ronny Raygun's First Book of Economics for Toddlers."

AKA - free shit for companies.   Tax revenue from corporations went down.   Thats a fact  And the US deficit went up.   Thats a fact.   And government spedning went through the roof.   Thats a fact.

ANd if that garners your support, fine.  Just stop lecturing about "Free shit" when its something you support.   K ?

So is the tax swindle! At least through 2025---and longer if a Republihole--controlled Congress extends it.

And even if it actually had been a one-shot...2.3 trillion is 2,300 billion, or 46 X 50 billion...so it would take 46 years of student loan forgiveness to equate one year of Trumpy fat cat tax breaks. And what student loan forgiveness gets us is intelligent, ambitous young people able to start their careers without being hobbled by debt; what fat cat tax breaks get us are...fatter cats.

The fact is that Trump-hole's tax gifts have cost America trillions of dollars. And the same people who cheered, danced, and masturbated when Trump announced those giveaways are all purple-faced at students getting ONE-TWENTIETH of a trillion dollars.

Stupid Tommie-poo.

Everyone with a functioning brain knows where Lewis the liar pulled that from - I bet that he has no website to back up his claims and if you ask for one, he will tell you to look it up - just more of his lying bullshit...
