We already know that the pretext for this horrible plan is to "cut waste and fraud blah blah blah," but there's no provision in the budget to even try to do that. Rather, it's just indiscriminate slashing across the board.
The diamond pinky-ring MAGAs in Congress have never had to use Medicaid. They don't have any idea what it's like to need medical care and not be able to afford it. They've never been sick or injured and had to keep on working because they couldn't afford treatment. They've never had a loved one die for lack of proper care. And they've definitely never had to pick which to do: feed the kids, see a doctor, or pay the rent.
SO WHY SHOULD THESE MOTHERFUCKERS GET TO DECIDE WHO RECEIVES MEDICAL CARE AND WHO DOESN'T??
One simple fact that even the Turd-lickers won't acknowledge: Medicare and Medicaid are promises. It's the height of betrayal for the government to make people pay for benefits all their working lives and then strip those benefits away.
The worst thing the Turd administration is doing is breaking America's promises to its allies and its own people.
