A new report alleges that top committee staff for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), were briefed in February about Russia offering the Taliban bounties to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan, but Schiff remained inactive vis-à-vis the issue. According to The Federalist’s Sean Davis and Mollie Hemingway, “multiple intelligence sources familiar with the briefing” said it occurred when a congressional delegation made a trip to Afghanistan in February.Davis and Hemingway note that Schiff was asked on Tuesday if he knew about the Russia story before it was printed by The New York Times report, and Schiff answered, “I can’t comment on specifics.” They point out, “As chairman of the intelligence committee, Schiff had the authority to immediately brief the full committee and convene hearings on the matter. Schiff, however, did nothing. He did not brief his committee on the matter, nor did he brief the gang of 8, which consists of top congressional leadership in both chambers.”

Schiff has implied that President Trumpdid not haveaccess to the full intelligence, saying, “You don’t deprive the President of the United States of information he needs to keep the troops safe because you don’t have it signed, sealed, and delivered… If the intelligence community had intel along the lines that is publicly reported … this is information I think would be negligent to keep from him.”

More lying propaganda. "A new report alleges..." From whom? From what source? Is the report credible?

And how does this, even if true (which it isn't), excuse Trump?

The internet has several news sources concerning this story, found under "Adam Schiff knew of bounties in February", just Google it. Each article alludes to the same thing, Schiff, - the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, learned of the reports of Russian bounties onUnited States soldiers in Afghanistan in February and took no action.    As reported by American Military News, Republican Rep. Chris Stewart previously told CNN’s Chris Cuomo that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Schiff both bear responsibility for the intelligence and could have spoken out about the reporting.“Nancy Pelosi had this presented to her as well, in much the same format. So did Adam Schiff. All of us did. It was in the general intelligence analysis that we were seeing on a daily or weekly basis.”According to Stewart, neither Pelosi nor Schiff decided to pursue the matter.Per The Federalist, Schiff has the authority to brief the full committee and schedule hearings on the intelligence but chose not to inform the committee or the top congressional leaders in both the House and Republican-led Senate.

Dereliction of duty is just the tip of the trump crime family's iceberg.

When someone says "Google it" as some kind of proof, that's a sign that they refuse to argue honestly. Consider whether you really want to have a conversation with someone like that.

Argue -  that is what you losers want to do. Facts eliminate arguing. 

Adam Schiff is not the commander in cheif of the UNited States..nor does he get infomation that is not available to the President of United States.    Security and intelligence are all functions of the executive branch of the government.  To the extent Congress has access to it is a product of Seperation of Powers which is designed to keep them informed on things the executive branch otherwise might want to hide.

Thats something I learned in 9th grade government class.

So David, you've indicted your own witness.  And at no time has Adam Sciff ever played nice or voted opr supported Russia getting special forgiveness for its acts upon thw world stage.

While Putin is paying bounties for our soldiers' heads our president is fighting to get Russia back into the G8 and taking Russia's leader's statements about intelligence at face value despite them being contradicted by our own intelligence\

Oh, and uh, Happy 4th of July.

Trump is a traitor and has failed in his duties as President.

Schiff is someone Trump and his lovers hate. He does his job.

That's the difference between the two.
