After 1 year of DemocRatic policies and rule

Well then, per the polling numbers, they'll both be one and done.

That would be true if there was any correlation between poll numbers during the first year of a President's term and the results of the election three years after that.

It is really funny reading both sides of this and it is pretty obvious you either love or hate Trump or Biden.

And just so you know where I am coming from, I voted for Reagan, Clinton, Gore, Obama (the first time) and Trump, was a registered democrat all my life and now a registered independent.

So let's just stick to facts and policies please, not name calling, that doesn't do anyone any good.

Trump made America energy independent for the first time in 75 years, were were a net exporter of energy and the pipeline was well on it's way to being completed. On his first day in office, Biden stopped the pipeline here, put 15,000 Americans out of work, reversed the sanctions that Trump had in place on Russia and opened up their pipeline.  Gas was $2/gallon in most places a year ago, now close to $4/gallon. And what is the Commander in Chiefs solution, ask OPEC to increase production and lower the cost of oil? The technology does not yet exist to make solar and wind a viable solution, we still need fossil fuels until we get to that point. And I am all for reducing our carbon footprint, but if the rest of the world's biggest polluters don't join us, sadly, it will have very little impact on the world's climate if/when we go to zero.

The border wall was almost complete and illegal immigration numbers were at their lowest in over 20 years, on his first day in office, Biden stopped construction of the wall and opened the border, now illegal immigration numbers are at their highest in 50 years. The cartel has never been stronger, we have people from 150 countries pouring in, including convicted murderers, rapists, child molesters, gang members, terrorists, sex traffickers (this is a huge new source of revenue for the cartels), none of them have to get vaccinated and over 150 Americans were killed by illegals last year.

Afghanistan, there wasn't a single American death in 18 months before Biden took office, Trump had killed a few other terrorist leaders and made it clear to the Taliban that if they did not comply, he would kill them too. All the military leaders told Biden not to do what he did, take the military out first and then try and negotiate with the Taliban to get Americans out and yes, there are still American citizens stuck there, subject to ransom, torture and death.  We left $84 billion in equipment there and now have the best equipped terrorist organization in the world led mostly by the guys that Obama let out of Guantanamo.

COVID? Biden had the opportunity to buy 750,000,000 tests in October and passed, we are running out of all the therapeutics because they also have not ordered any more for a year, they have a pill that will pretty much fix you that should have been handled just like operation warp speed, they should have placed pre-orders for 200,000,0000 million of these pills and they would be available now, Biden just placed an order for 10 million and now just doubled it.  Everybody is getting Omicron and thank goodness it is far less deadly than Delta, but it is pretty obvious no matter what you do, you can't stop the spread, the focus needs to be on treatment and therapeutics as we are going to be living with this forever (just like the flu).

Voter suppression? Who doesn't have an ID at this point in time, you need one for just about every aspect of your life. The new law would eliminate voter ID requirements, take voting laws away from the individual states (which is completely against the constitution), allow for same day voter registrations, unlimited mail in ballots with no verification and so on.  How could anyone have any faith in the integrity of the voting process if you have no idea who is voting and how many times they vote?

In any event, Joe Biden is our president for the next 3 years and will be interesting to see what happens with the mid-term elections.

Mark Smith is a less than honest person who uses lots of words. Want proof?

How about "Gas was $2/gallon in most places a year ago, now close to $4/gallon?" Yeah, a year ago in the pandemic, most folks weren't doing much driving, were they? But two years ago, the average retail price was $2.64 and for a while around the middle of Trump's presidency, it was $3.00.

And at the end of December 2021, it was $3.41, not $4.00 as Mark claims.

But maybe it's not Mark, it's just that he consumes garbage media. That's my guess.

Holy cow, what a crock !

Trump didn't do a damn thing to make Ameirca energy independent and Biden didnt do a damn thing to make us less so.    Pipeline that doesnt exist and wasnt going to exist for several more years plays no role whatsoever in gas prices.   And "pipeline" is not synonymous with gas supply.

No, the wall wasnt almost complete.  It was never really started.   We largely already had wall where it made sense to have one.   Trump rebuilt walls that were already in place and told his base that it was new.    Lucky for him he had people like you who believed him.   Trump also had a migrant crisis at the border just like Biden....just with a lot less hyperbole stating how big of a life and death crisis it was.

And you're another one who blames the Afghan Army surrender to the Taliban on Biden.   Thats rich.  And I invite Republicans to run on what a big mistake it was to stop the 20 year occupation of a country that surrendered the second we pulled our troops out.    good luck.

And voter ID is so 2010.    You obviously haven't read the new legislation passed in Georgia and Texas which allows partisan hacks to count votes instead of the non-partisan election committees consisting of an equal number of Republicans and Democrats.

But thanks for your straight down the middle commentary you pulled out of Sean Hannity's transcripts from last week.     Its always refreshing to get a no-nonsense, objective view.

Biden's poll numbers continue to free fall, it's beyond time for him to abandon his failed agenda and move back to the center.

"Continue to free fall." Yup, at the beginning of December President Biden was at 42.3% and now he's at...42.3%. Wheee! (538 composite.)

Wake me up when Roger says something honest.

Apparently PJ does not like the facts that Mark posted - but that was to be expected. PJ is so full of shit and he has no clue to reality. Anyone believing him is just as stupid as he is.

Might as well face the fact folks.   40% of voters don't want to live in a Democratic Republic anymore because they know their team can't win fair elections. The only problem they have with sedition is they don't think there is enough of it.

So by all means, cons vote to continue the Republican tradition of sedition.

Yesterday's Quinnipiac poll released yesterday has Biden's approval rating at 33%. Almost a 10% drop in one month.

Mark Smith's ravings are beyond ridiculous. He admits that he went Trumpy after two decades of voting Democrat. I can only speculate on what happened to his brain.

Solar and wind already produce a substantial percentage of the nation's energy and that percentage is increasing rapidly. We don't depend on the OPEC nations for our fossil fuels. We do buy them on the world market if and when they're cheaper than domestically produced fuels.

The tired mantra of trillions of illegal alien rapists and murderers flooding across our border is so cliched, I won't comment on it.

The Afghan collapse happened after Biden took office--and after Trump signed a surrender agreement with the Taliban.

Vaccines work. The problem arises when not enough of the population takes them. Period.

The "integrity of the voting process" is assured by voter registration and signature verification, either on mail-in ballots or at the polling place. The idiot claims of widespread voter fraud ignore the question of: why would anyone commit several felonies in order to cast a fraudulent vote? Ultimately, what protects our election process is that the vast majority of citizens are honest, RepubliQ asshole claims notwithstanding.

Mark Smith's post reads like Tucker Carlson's Greatest Hits. Yawn.
