Yet wages remain stagnant supposedly puzzling even the Federal Reserve Chief. Hint it’s not really a puzzle. Giving huge tax cuts to Corporations doesn’t result in wage growth for employees. Anybody with a lick of sense knows this. Now workers with stagnant wages are facing rapidly increasing inflation along with higher interest rates.
Real median income growth for families was 1% under obama. Median income under President Trump exceeds that.
Went to my McDonalds today. They used to have 4 people taking orders; now there is one person to help with the electronic ordering. It is open almost 20 hours daily. So instead of 12 people per day taking orders, now there is 3. Way to go $15 minimum wage
who’s complaining about the economy? Did you see me post a bullshit article about Trump faking he unemployment numbers? Or try to make the argument that the unemployment figure is irrelevant? to the extent I complain, it’s about things Boilerman used to pretend to be upset about too...even under false pretenses. For example...
boilerman was livid about the shrinking deficit under Obama...but he is cool with the exploding one under trump.
boilerman loved to complain about liberals shrugging off crimes by their leadership even though he couldn’t articulate what those crimes were. But he can’t seem to acknowledge the giant ring of convicted and indicted scum around the current administration.
Boilerman hated how Obama was picking winners and losers in the economy...especially the energy sector.. but I havnt heard a peep about the current admins endeavors on those fronts....
and then there’s stuff like executive orders being an abuse of executive power or something...oh and dirty Hillary’s money from paid speeches...and her corrupt charity. How bullshit is that given the context of the current admin and Boilerman’s sudden indifference?
in summary- yes, I complain about stuff that’s worth complaining about. The economy isn’t on my list. I don’t have enough gull to make shit up and pretend to be upset about it.
PS - I'm doing quite well in the current economy as I did in the one that was "in reverse or first gear" under Obama.
I dont know what Boilerman was investing in during the Obama years....but the stuff I invested in tripled the value of my retirement nest egg. If that is the definition of "reverse or first gear" I'd happily stay in that mode the rest of my life.

The 8 year GDP under Obama was one of the worst ever & he is the only president not to have 1 year of 3% GDP growth.
I guess it depends where you start counting from. Obama inherited -8% GDP growth and turned it into +2%.
And what followed has been the 2nd longest period of uninterupted prosperity in our history...and may ultimately be the longest depending on the next recession. In the meantime, I promise not to judge the economy on food stamps and golf.
