What was the inflation rate during those years compared to the ones during the good ole days? Did you figure that into your calculation

Are you referring to carter’s double digit inflation & interest rates?

Yet wages remain stagnant supposedly puzzling even the Federal Reserve Chief. Hint it’s not really a puzzle. Giving huge tax cuts to Corporations doesn’t result in wage growth for employees. Anybody with a lick of sense knows this. Now workers with stagnant wages are facing rapidly increasing inflation along with higher interest rates.
I know I've been MIA here, but kinda waiting on this point.
I think a HUGE point that's missing here concerning low wages not going up right now is fairly simple right now. The amount of low wage workers that have flooded the market have depressed the price of labor so bad there's no way in hell ANY wages will rise unless somone goes to ND and it's to F'n cold nobody wants to go there, especially mexicans. WMT was paying 10 bucks an hour to get someone to work, same with MCD's. Supply and demand folks. There's no way the avg. wage will rise unless something is done about immigration.
