A 12 year old episode with another consenting adult is really no ones business - Whether President Trump agrees or disagrees with what happened really has nothing to do with his Presidency. Move along, nothing to see here.

I largely agree.  But what do you say to the evangelical types that constantly preach about bringing family values to the top tiers of our Federal Government?  You know, like you always do?    Clearly you dont believe your own BS on this topic.   Much like your gripes about taxpayer money spent on presidential vacations.

We are not talking about me, so save your liberal tatic of "switching the focus of the topic" and try to stay on point. 

Our history is fraught with politicians on both sides of the aisle that have engaged in infidelity.    Its also fraught with hypocrites who suffer a fit of religous outrage only when the other team is a subject of it...and saying "nothing to see here"  when their team is.

David MIller is a prime example.

Believe it or not their are actually intelligent Republicans that have worthy opinions about the size of government, taxation, regulation, and the role of our military.     David Frum and Peggy Noonan come to mind.

But then you get the trolls who cry about things like golf, vacations, sex, blasphemy, foul language, and emails.....but only in the context of the other team.   Enter the national FOX News viewing audience.  

David MIller is a prime example.   

Its a shame the latter group seems to have the loudest voices.

Sorry, David, it is everybody’s business at this point.

The fact that they paid her 12 years later and just 11 days before the election show that Trump and Cohen thought it had a lot to do with his presidency. 

Actually, it has nothing to do with his presidency. It only has something to do with the smear campaign that has been waged since Trump was elected president. It is nobody's business as to what two consenting adults do or have done together. 

That’s not what Republicans thought when Bill Clinton was President.  Hell, they impeached him over lying about an affair between two consenting adults. Why aren’t conservatives demanding Trump be held to the same standard Clinton was?  Don’t forget that Donald Trump disagrees with you.  He thought 25-year-old accusations against a candidate’s spouse were everybody’s business. Won’t you at least be honest enough to hold Trump to the very standard Trump said his opponent should be held to?

The only smear campaign I am aware of is the multiple times he called his accusers liars and too ugly to sexually assault. In fact, one of those accusers has Trump in court right now. When Trump or Cohen make illegal payments to cover up consensual affairs it becomes everyone’s business.  When Trump or Cohen threaten former consensual partners of Trump it becomes everyone’s business.  When Trump’s attorney solicits untruthful statements from Trump’s former consensual partners it becomes everybody’s business. When Trump’s attorney defames a former consensual partner, it becomes everybody’s business.     When Trump and Cohen sue former consensual partners for 20 million dollars it becomes everyone’s business.  A POTUS suing any private citizen for millions of dollars in damages should be national news because it is unheard of.

I believe you left out a very important fact- Clinton did his deeds while in the White House as an acting President - then lied about his affair on national TV for all to see. The accuasation concerning President Trump took place (if true) 12 years BEFORE he was elected President. There is a difference. Does this make President Trump a chior boy? No, it doesn't. As I have said before, the current accusations concerning President Trump have nothing to do with his current presidency. Personally I wonder if you or any of his other detractors would be able to pass a similar "smell test" concerning your personal lives. 

Great news Doc.  About the same time you typed this reply, Donnie spoke for the first time about the Stormy Daniels matter on the record with a reporter.  He said he didn’t know about the payment to Stormy Daniels.  What that means is that his NDA with Stormy is null and void as you can’t have a contract when one of the parties isn’t aware of it. 

The only way the contract can be saved now is if both Cohen and Trump admit under oath in a deposition or before for the court that they were lying when they issued those denials.  Since that would be misconduct that occurred on the job as President, I am sure you will be the first to call for Trump to be impeached as we know you aren’t a hypocrite.

I am good either way.  If he sticks to his story, Stormy can release her text messages, videos, and any pictures that passed between her and Lil Spanky.    Plus, it will be really interesting to see how large a judgment Stormy gets against Cohen for defamation.
