That may be behind Moscow Mitch's reluctance to hold an actual trial. Many of Trump's lackeys would have to testify under oath, in the national spotlight. It's one thing to say the Orange Asshole did nothing wrong during a guest spot on Fox News and quite another to say the same thing after swearing to tell the truth.
Pelosi was brilliant to decide to let the Republicans stew on this one, exacerbating the division between Mitch and The Monkeys and the Orange Orangutan (there's a reason why moneys and orangutans don't share the same cages at the zoo).

Boilerman can feel free to correct that statement by giving the name of a so-called "republican witness" that has knowledge of the allegations against the president (as oppossed to the person Boilerman would rather be on trial). Please give us one name.
The only actual witnesses that did not testify are the hand-picked appointees in Trump's inner circle and the bone-spur copward himself who are all (illegally) hiding under their desk.

Boilerbaby, you still don't seem to understand that the impeachment hearings were NOT a criminal trial and that Trump did NOT have the right to call witnesses. Anyone on the committee could request that a witness be heard, but that was up to Pelosi and the committee.
For that matter, even in a criminal trial, the defense does not have an unlimited right to call witnesses--they must show the court that the testimony the witnesses will offer is relevant to the case. In the impeachment hearings, the Republicans called several witnesses whose testimony would have had no bearing on the case. Therefore, they were not allowed to testify.
Regardless of your stupid propaganda about the "Libs," the process was fair, impartial, and carefully considered. You and Trump may not have liked it, but it was perfectly legal and constitutional.
Now quit being a whiny Fox News mouthpiece and sit down, shut up, and let the process play out. You KNOW the asshole you worship will eventually get off. So why whine? What's your problem?
