Fox News is a bit strange. During prime time, it's a rough imitation of an actual, fact-reporting news channel. But around 9 o'clock and into the wee hours, continuing until sunrise, it's a ridiculously biased propaganda channel. During this transition, though, they continue to claim that they're reporting actual news.
One example was something I saw as I was flipping channels. The headline at the bottom of the screen was "DEMS' IMPEACHMENT FANTASY." Now, I wasn't about to stop and listen to what the resident Trump pundits were going to say, but the people on the screen were the regular news anchors for that hour, and it was about 8 in the evening. Therefore, their claim was still that they were offering "news."
Now, unless you're one of our stupid Trumpers, you'll realize that was a pretty biased headline. It signaled the fact that the upcoming story wasn't going to be a sane discussion of the impeachment inquiry--it was going to be a partisan propaganda piece. This no doubt gave the Trumpers who were watching chills.
I doubt very much that impeachment is a "fantasy" at this point, any more than it was a fantasy for the Republicans when they went after Bill Clinton. But in the alternate reality that is Fox News, every criticism of Trump is a partisan lie, the LIBURRUL Deep State is trying to take over the country, all the "Dems" want SOOOOOCIALISM, and Hillary should be executed for sending emails.
It's no wonder that Trump has such a bizarre and distorted view of reality, if he gets up at 3 every morning and avidly listens to this tommyrot. It might have something to do with the twisted, stupid, and evil views of our resident Trumpers as well.
